For over 20 years, Noldus Information Technology has been developing professional software and instrumentation for observational and behavioral research. Our products enable the collection, analysis, management and presentation of behavioral, physiological and acoustical data. Scientists, engineers and practitioners use our products to study behavioral processes, automate measurements, improve the quality of their data, increase productivity, and make optimal use of human or animal resources. Applications are in biology, psychology, pharmacology, ergonomics and human factors. Universities, research institutes and companies in more than 75 countries use our systems. Noldus Information Technology has its head office in The Netherlands and branch offices across Europe, the United States and China. We currently employ more than 100 people.
The job
As a member of the Research & Development team in Wageningen you contribute to the development of new data acquisition, analysis and visualization software. You will have the opportunity to work on unique innovative technical products which are regarded as the most advanced in our markets.
Tasks
- Requirements analysis
- Functional and technical design
- Implementation of applications in C++ or C# on Microsoft Windows platforms
- Testing of the software
We ask
- University or college degree/level in computer science or electronics
- Knowledge of Microsoft Visual Studio .NET, C++, C#, MFC, STL, DirectX, Boost on Windows XP/7 platforms
- Working experience with multimedia applications and techniques (preferred)
- Knowledge of COM and UML (preferred)
- Creativity, initiative, independence but also ability to work in a team
- Good written and spoken English skills
