T-maze

The modular T-maze is a combination of a modular hub wall and runway ends. This modular concept also allows you to add an extra runway to create a plus maze. Mazes are constructed of white polypropylene runway bases, clear polycarbonate walls, aluminum frames, and clear polycarbonate covers. Optional blue runway inserts are available to improve the contrast for video tracking.

New automatic guillotine doors (optional) can be controlled with EthoVision XT’s Trial & Hardware Control Module. The quiet motor of each door is mounted underneath the runway arm to provide a clear view of the animal throughout the entire maze. To connect the doors to your computer, use a Noldus (mini) USB-IO box and a TTL to 28 Volt converter.
