17th Biennial Conference of the European Association for Research on Learning and Instruction

Classroom behavior is often difficult to follow as researchers simply don’t have enough eyes and ears to catch everything that happens.

If this data can be accurately collected, it can reveal a wealth of information, such as the effectiveness of special education programs, or engagement of students with behavioral problems.

Come visit us at the EARLI in Tampere, Finland, to learn more about our innovative tools for classroom observations!

Creating video and audio recordings

With Viso you can capture your participants’ behaviors in classroom settings with remotely-controlled Pan-Tilt-Zoom cameras, across multiple rooms at once. When recording, you can mark with a simple click of a button events of interest per subject, or add comments. You can view recordings live, or directly afterwards in any preferred location. Recorded videos are immediately available for playback.

On-site recording of behavior

Designed for easy transportation, our portable lab requires very little set-up time, and is ideal for observing people in their natural environment such as a classroom. The portable lab is a user-friendly package, consisting of high quality components to guarantee excellent results.

To get the most out of your data, use The Observer XT for its extensive analysis features and comprehensive system for managing data. Our software allows you to visualize processes, calculate statistics, and create highlight clips of video and data.
