Wageningen: City of Insects

From 18-24 of September 2006, the city of Wageningen was transformed into City of Insects: a festival which underlines the importance of insects for our society and demonstrates studies of insects of the Wageningen University and Research Centre. The festival offered a wide range of activities, such as a display competition, insects in art, street shows, and workshops.

Noldus Information Technology successfully joined City of Insects and opened her doors to the public on Saturday, September 23. Visitors could enjoy product demonstrations, including a showing of DelFly, a miniature robot airplane developed by TU Delft.

For the children, the researchers of the future, attractive activities were organized.
