Our consulting services will enable you to quickly take advantage of the many benefits that Noldus’ systems and software provide. We can assist and advise you during the design of your research, by coding your observations, in the set-up of your lab to obtain the results that you are after, and in training your staff. If you have a very complex coding scheme and are looking for a suitable configuration or if you are struggling to get the analysis output in a particular format, we can help you there too, saving you a lot of time and energy at a later stage!

Consultancy in many different areas
Our consultants, all of whom have academic backgrounds (mostly with a PhD in behavioral sciences), are trained to help you:

• If you want to know whether it is possible to use certain software tools for your project, we can set up a feasibility study. You can only invest your money once!
• When you rent a system, we can provide technical assistance at any level.
• Together, we can configure your project in The Observer® XT so you can start using The Observer XT immediately. We help you identify the relevant categories and structure your project in such a way that your research can be executed in the most efficient manner.
• After video recordings have been made, you can rely on our consultants to code your videos. Many of our consultants are trained coders and can code behaviors accurately.
• Once data has been collected, we can provide assistance in analysis of your data and/or pattern searching. Our consultants are experienced researchers. Confidentiality is of course guaranteed.
• We train you and your colleagues to make sure you are using your system in the most efficient way. Whether you are an experienced or novice user, we offer dedicated training courses for your specific research application.

We can provide any of these services independently or in combination with the rental of software, small set-ups, or complete systems.

Human Factors research
Besides training you and your colleagues in the art of usability testing and Human Factors research, we can also help you perform your own tests or take care of one or more of the stages of the testing process.We can provide any combination of services: you decide what you need.
