Title: Field Technician

Primarily responsible for the installation of computer/video/audio equipment, with travel within the US and Canada comprising up to 35% of the position. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: installation of equipment racks, screens, microphones, desktop computers, mounting cameras, performing software installation, pulling, terminating and labeling cables, operating hand and power tools, configuring networking devices. Other responsibilities will include problem solving, equipment testing and technical support assistance. In office time will consist of maintaining production inventory, sales support, logistics, pre-production, integration and testing, and additional duties as assigned by management. This is a full-time, salaried position. Most work is performed Monday thru Friday from 9-5 with occasional evening and weekend work. Overnight travel is possible and mileage and other travel related expenses will be reimbursed.
The field technician is responsible for installing our products in accordance with Noldus and the manufacturer’s specifications, in a safe and secure manner. All installations must meet the highest quality standards. A professional attitude must be maintained at all times, while delivering excellent customer service. The ability to effectively manage stressful situations is required.
- Minimum of a high school diploma or GED equivalent and some college
- Training in related fields such as electrical engineering, construction, A/V installation is preferred
- Capacity to understand the implications and consequences of the actions taken by yourself and your team members; ability to transfer information, written and oral, in an accurate manner to fellow employees and to clients; working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and general office equipment; ability and desire to meet or exceed all company and customer deadlines. You must be able to climb ladders, lift heavy objects and similar tasks
