The Observer XT imposes few hard limits on its use for the sake of versatility. It is intended as a system for manual event recording. We recommend limiting the amount of data to 10,000 events per project, including imported event data. This limit does not apply to external data, such as physiological readings, or plug-in data. If you have more events than this, it can be a good idea to exclude some data (e.g. some observations) by the data selection. Note that the more powerful your computer, the more data it can handle. For large amounts of data you should not use a computer with only the minimum hardware specifications.
