Workshops

Workshops are a new program element for Measuring Behavior. Workshops are interactive discussions about specific aspects of measuring techniques. Examples could be a discussion of requirements of a new feature of a program like a software event recorder with a group of users, discussion between manufacturers of data acquisition equipment to agree on a data exchange format, or discussion between usability testers and people measuring consumer behavior to see what can be learnt from each other's methodology. Participants are normally asked to prepare and submit material in advance for the workshop and numbers are limited to enable good interactive discussion.

Current workshops:

Workshops provide a valuable opportunity for exhibitors to instruct (potential) users in the techniques and equipment their company offers. Workshops include a (short) theoretical introduction and hands-on training. The Measuring Behavior organization will provide meeting space and will announce workshops on the conference web site and in the Final Program Book.

Topics
Workshops cover a wide range of topics related to methods, techniques and equipment used in behavioral research.
More information on the workshops that will be organized during Measuring Behavior 2008 will become available very shortly.

At the conference
The audiovisual support for a workshop consists of the use of a computer projector (beamer).
