EthoVision XT 7.0: No limits to automated behavioral testing

Wageningen, The Netherlands – Today, Noldus Information Technology announced the release of EthoVision XT 7.0. With this release, Noldus complements the already versatile software with manual event recording, offering researchers the ideal software package for automated behavioral testing – without limitations.

New functionality
The new EthoVision XT 7.0 integrates a Manual Event Recorder into the Base software package. This allows the user to score behaviors in addition to automatic tracking. Ideal for scoring behaviors that cannot be automatically recognized, it is also practical for fine-tuning or validating behaviors that are detected by EthoVision XT, such as elongation (stretch attend posture) or immobility (freezing). Furthermore, improvements were made to the user interface, giving the software a new look and feel to it.
