Noldus announces The Observer XT 10 release

Wageningen, The Netherlands — Researchers from different disciplines can now combine data from a wide range of measurement systems with observational data in the today released The Observer® XT 10, the latest in behavioral research software. A large number of researchers, active in both animal and human observational research, consider The Observer XT the gold-standard of software for the collection, analysis, and presentation of observational data. New features include an improved numerical analysis, a built-in questionnaire tool, compatibility with Windows 7, and a number of other improved functionalities.

Complete integrations
Data integration can easily get complicated with a large number of data sources. Fortunately, The Observer XT software is developed to manage, integrate, and synchronize data from many different sources. Get the best possible insight in the relationship between experimental conditions, behavior, and other data, such as physiological responses, eye movements, and facial expressions. The improved numerical analysis allows researchers to analyze behaviors in respect to physiological data. For example, select all the intervals in which the heart rate is above a critical number and find the related behaviors.

International approach
Noldus is offering products and services to the global research community. Therefore, a third support office on the American East Coast has been opened this year. And, as Noldus strives for global excellence, customers using Cyrillic script are now able to code, edit, and add comments in The Observer XT in their own language. In addition, a Russian version of the popular Noldus website has recently been launched.
