TUMCAT (Testbed for User experience for Mobile Contact-aware ApplicaTions)

The aim of the project is to conceptualize, develop and implement a user experiences test environment, particularly for mobile context-aware applications. The test environment will enable researchers to design and evaluate new applications, by measuring the experiences of users being in the own living or working environment of the user. TUMCAT aims at providing researchers and user-centered designers with (new) measurement instruments which, combined with the existing User Centered Design (UCD) methods and tools, provide the desired insight in the user experience, especially during the evaluation of new products and services, but also during other phases of the UCD cycle.
