Mazes and open fields

Mazes and open fields, available in different sizes that make them suitable for all kinds of rodents, are suited for most commmonly used behavioral tests. Our infrared-translucent mazes and open fields will enable automatic tracking in many situations in which tracking used to be very difficult or even impossible.

PhenoTyper

PhenoTyper represents a video-based observation environment in which rodent behavior can be automatically monitored. PhenoTyper can be configured in a number of ways according to the behavioral test you want to conduct. Examples include:

- Activity monitoring
- Locomotion assessment
- High throughput screening
- Circadian studies
- Home cage testing

Tower Filming System

The tower filming system provides a robust, reliable view of large numbers of small animals such as five-day old zebrafish larvae and Drosophila in chambers. When used in conjunction with EthoVision, up to one hundred animals can be tracked in their own arenas with no additional set-up time when a new batch of animals is introduced.

Infrared LED Array

Animals which are only nocturnally active or which live in dens provide a specific problem for the behavioral observer; namely providing adequate lighting for filming at the lab without influencing animals' behavior. This problem can be solved with the Infrared LED Array
