Noldus Information Technology develops professional software and instrumentation for observational and behavioral research. Our products enable the collection, analysis, management and presentation of behavioral, physiological and acoustical data. Scientists, engineers and practitioners use our products to study behavioral processes, automate measurements, improve the quality of their data, increase productivity, and make optimal use of human or animal resources. Applications are in biology, psychology, pharmacology, ergonomics and human factors. With products like The Observer, EthoVision, and Catwalk we have established a leading market position. Universities, research institutes and companies in more than 75 countries use our systems. Noldus Information Technology operates from our head office in The Netherlands and branch offices across Europe and the United States. We currently employ approx. 85 people.

The job
As a member of the R&D team in Wageningen you contribute to the development of new data acquisition, analysis and visualization software. You will have the opportunity to work on unique technical innovative products which are regarded as the most advanced in our markets.

Tasks
- Writing of requirements
- Make functional and technical designs
- Implementation of applications in C++ on Microsoft Windows platforms
- Testing of the software

We ask
- University degree/level in computer science or electronics
- Good written and spoken English skills
- Knowledge of MsVisual Studio .NET C++, MFC, STL, directX, boost on Windows XP/Vista platforms and if possible you have working experience with multimedia applications and techniques
- Knowledge of COM and UML is an advantage
- Creativity, initiative, independence, but also able to work in a team
