Guest speaker: Dr. Anthony Dell

Anthony Dell is a Research Scientist at the National Great Rivers Research and Education Center (NGRREC), located on the banks of the Mississippi River in Alton, IL. His research fuses metabolic ecology, movement ecology, and community ecology to address basic and applied questions in biology. Dr. Dell has a growing interest in how the movement and behavior of organisms influence species interactions, and the role of the physical environment. To address these questions, his laboratory has used automated image-based tracking methods on a diversity of aquatic and terrestrial species, including forest litter invertebrates, salamanders, fish, aquatic macroinvertebrates, small mammals, and more.
