Video appears on screen and tracking operates properly, but an error occurs when the trial begins and video recording has been selected in the experiment settings: "Critical Message" ID 12013. There is no video signal on source Euresys PICOLO DILIGENT sn/1159- VID 1  Please connect the camera and redo the trial."

If you want to both track live and record video, the video must be connected to TWO inputs on the Picolo Diligent. One input is used for tracking, while the second is used for video recording. If only a single video input is connected, but video recording has been selected, an error will occur. Use a T-connector and additional BNC cable to connect a second port. The base of the T connector should be connected to one port, the camera connected to one side of the T, and the BNC cable should connect the other side to a second port.

Note that this was not possible in EthoVision 2 or 3, you need EthoVision XT 4 or above to do live tracking and create a video file at the same time in EthoVision.
