The meeting opened with interesting presentations by Professor Paolo Fabene on the pitfalls of behavioral research and the use of sight by rats, followed by a presentation of Dr. Pawel Boguszewski on available freeware programs that can help you with your research set-up, data collection, and presentation. The afternoon was dedicated to a hands-on training, including tips and tricks for the use of EthoVision XT and Linda Hoekstra built a test set-up. People gathered form different parts of Poland, including Warsaw, Lodz, and Wroclaw.
