The main aim of the Miraculous-Life project was to design, develop and evaluate an innovative user-centred technological solution, the Virtual Support Partner (VSP), attending to an older person (65+) daily activity and safety needs, while the person goes about his or her normal daily life.
The VSP provides implicit daily activities support, which is based on behavior, emotional understanding and appropriate responds to distinctive emotions and is delivered in a human-like way simulating the interaction with a real life partner.
In this project, Noldus developed sensor fusion technology to provide robust indications of emotional states from several independant channels of measurement.
