From the 9th of March 2018 our 'alma mater' Wageningen University & Research (WUR) celebrates its 100th anniversary. Noldus Information Technology wishes WUR a happy birthday! The upcoming year, Noldus will participate in the celebrations, starting with the 100th Dies Natalis.
Be inspired by 100 years of Wageningen Wisdom & Wonder!
Noldus Information Technology was established in 1989 by Lucas Noldus, who serves as the president of the company. Lucas holds a Ph.D. degree in animal behavior from Wageningen University. During his research on the behavioral ecology of parasitoid wasps, he developed the first version of what later became The Observer software package.
Since these early years, there has always been a unique and strong connection between Noldus Information Technology and WUR, evidenced by joined developments such as the Restaurant of the Future, ICT for Brain, Body and Behavior, many international research consortia, and the Wageningen Ambassadorship of Dr. Lucas Noldus to prove it. The Wageningen Ambassadors are prominent alumni who hold key positions in government or industry and who feel a strong connection with Wageningen. They use their networks and financial resources to build bridges between Wageningen and society.
