LBI Trauma

Evaluation of functional recovery in rodent models

At the Ludwig Boltzmann Institute for Experimental and Clinical Traumatology (LBI Trauma), researchers use CatWalk XT gait analysis system to evaluate functional recovery in rat models of peripheral nerve injury and spinal cord contusion injury.

In the video, they explain what they found to be the most important factors to pay attention to when planning to use CatWalk XT for your research - from training the animals, to software and hardware adjustments.

Customer quote

CatWalk XT is a great substitute for the old fashion footprint test. It is a quick throughput system, easy to use, and with no operator bias during the acquisition phase.
