Eating unhealthy food is a serious problem in
our society causing all sorts of problems like diabetes, heart disease and obesity. There is
still too little understood about why consumers make the choices they do. In this project, the
partners will carry out networking and joint research to enable the field to adopt the best
modern methodologies for researching this issue. Across Europe, researchers are working together to better understand consumer behavior and food choices. Noldus will develop innovative new technologies for the objective measurement of the experience of food consumers. During the project NoldusHub was developed and used by researchers for integrating, synchronizing and carrying out advanced analysis of a range of sensor data streams. The COMFOCUS project is led by Wageningen University and has 14 other partners, including Noldus. In the COMFOCUS project, early-career scientists explored surprising new questions. COMFOCUS is funded by the Infrastructure call for starting communities from
the Horizon 2020 program of the European Union. Grant number 101005259. To find out more, you can contact us or visit the project website.
