Phenotyping pest resistance with EthoVision
TrackGene
There is an increasing demand to reduce damage to crops without resorting to insecticides. Breeding resistant plant varieties is a good approach, but screening plants for a resistant phenotype is time-consuming. In this project, the partners will further develop EthoVision based video tracking methods to enable efficient and rapid screening for pest resistance.

The role of Noldus
Noldus will optimize its EthoVision software for this application, including building the capability to track from very high resolution images.
